To give it some context the ideas i’v been working with at the moment revolve around body image, fame and the media’s presentation of acceptable image, and how this imposes an unreal and uninteresting standard on people. I chose the bakewell tart as a visual metaphor as I was looking for something endlessly reproduced, uniform in appearance; lacking in individual character or complexity
