Been using a couple of dead hours (read: 1am +) each day to work on some personal stuff from my sketchbook that I’ve been wanting to pursue for ages, this is the latest one. liking this new idea of sketching from random party snapshots, so here’s another. Again, the scanned has destroyed most of the light grey tones, but you still get the jist i guess!

Been able to carry on playing about with Surrealist-inspired ideas, this is the latest one, a calligramme inspired by America

second in the series: ‘Envy’ in a fairly modern context! All drawn by hand (got a bit obsessed here) in green biro, with obvious ‘envy’ connotations! Still needs to be scanned in and cleaned up, but it will be a few days before I can get near an A3 scanner

Newest piece for a series I’m doing based on the 7 deadly sins - didn’t want to go with ‘ greed’ or ‘gluttony’ for this one as they seemed far too obvious! Done in photoshop using a mix of stock photos, googles and pics I took myself. Really happy with the result, but still in [...]

Just finished a new series of illustrations entitled ‘Designer Labels’, which are essential labels added to everyday scenes, conveying their unspoken meaning in a fairly offbeat way.

Was up until about 3am last night putting finishing touches onto this, pretty fitting really considering that the theme is an addiction to design! All drawn by hand, of course!

The latest stage of the canvas I’m working on - Skin on the face needs darkening and I haven’t even touched the background yet but I’m happy so far!

Got approached recently to design the latest in an ongoing campaign for Scholarest, the catering company. The breif was a poster advertising a Halloween-themed promotion to win cinema tickets.
